Shhhh

Okay, never mind what I said last week about enough not being enough. Never mind that I sounded a bit resigned. Never mind that it sounded like I was giving up. I’m pretty sure all of that was due to the fact that my blog was hijacked by Glum and he can’t write anything but gloom and doom.

So why the “Shhhh”? Well first, I don’t want him to find out I’ve regained control of my blog and changed the password. Second, and this is the part you can’t tell anyone about, yesterday was Day One again. Shhhh! I said be quiet! Don’t just blurt it out like that. The universe will hear … and then I’ll be doomed again.

So let’s just leave it at that. I’ll keep you posted, of course, but in a much quieter manner than I’m used to.

OK, I’ll keep this just between you and me. But I do wonder why so many male bloggers seem to have trouble with their alter-egos (you and Jack Sh*t at least).

What makes you think this is an alter ego?

LOL!

Sunday was my Day 1 ! Day 4 today and I’m 3lbs down 🙂 Now why can’t that happen every week? Does it just happen in the first week to get us excited and revved!

Whatever! Doesnt really matter.

What REALLY matters are those pictures I saw last week of a fat person! Gross!! Urgh…..I never see it creeping on. I really need to get a grip again, so here we are……

Again….:)

Shhhhhh indeed!

3lbs down, 27lbs to go!!

We’re in this together Charlie 😉

Tusc 😉

Ha – love Debbi’s comment! 😀 Hooray for starting over . . . me too. I am on day two (nevermind that I’ve ridden my bike 170 miles since June 1st!).

Did you hear that I gave up my beloved wine?? Now I am just going to whine! 😀

Love, your prettier sister

I won’t tell if you won’t tell.

Never stop starting day ones even if it’s your 5 millionth. You never know when it will be your last one. I had no confidence on my day 1 in 2007, but I ended up 100 lbs lighter and with a new outlook on life.

Hi there yourself, Charlie! I find it scandalous and slightly pee your pants funny that the two blogging Charlies out there (in male and female counterparts) are both blogging about dieting! I am looking forward to going back and reading some of your posts. And I’m excited to read your book, which is now gracing my amazon cart. (Unless you want to send me a garage sale copy you have laying around for some shameless blog promotion… my email is on my blog under “contact Charlie” if you want…) Anyway, your sense of humor and irreverance for all things diet is SOOOO in line with my sense of humor! So (extending a virtual hand) nice to meet you!
