Attempt 106, Week 6

Life’s been a bit, shall we say, crazy lately. Long work hours, a new school year starting, and about seventy-two hours of History Channel programming to catch up on on the DVR. (Those programs aren’t going to watch themselves.) And as we all know nothing does a diet better than crazy time.

Here’s the latest graph:

Graph: Attempt 106, Week 6

Week Six
Starting Weight 233.0
Current Weight 227.9
Change from Last Time +0.4
Lost So Far 5.1
Pounds To Go 28.9

On the bright side, I’m technically still down about five pounds. And for just this one week, we’re going to leave it on the bright side. I’m filing this under “I” for I’ll Take What I Can Get. In spite of all the craziness going on, I think I can still hold this together a bit. Let’s look and see what I have going for me:

  • The Cheez-Its are almost gone.

Okay. So it’s not a very big list, but like I said, I’m leaving this post on the bright side. How about you? Are you currently looking at the bright side of life? [Cue “Life of Brian” music . . .]

Just yesterday I thought of you as I walked past the Cheez-Its THAT WERE ON SALE and said, ‘NO! Evil Cheez-It’s! I will not allow you to take me down… hmmmm I wonder how Charlie is doing?”

Now I know. The next couple of weeks will be full of the pre-Thanksgiving slow down so take full advantage of it Charlie!

Hi Charlie!

I would also put that in the “I’ll take it category”

I am actually looking forward to the kids going back to school – and have life a little more structured.

Have a great day !!
