Attempt 105, Week 6

It was a mixed bag this week. First, I took a bag. Then I put a few good days in it. Then I put a few bad days in it. Then I lit it on fire and set it on my arch-enemy’s front porch. I feel better now.

Actually, my real week can be summed up best in this week’s graph:

Graph: Attempt 105, Week 6

No, I have no idea what that graph means. I just found it on the internet. But I think it sums up very nicely the easy, straightforward process that is dieting.

Week Six
Starting Weight 224.0
Current Weight 216.8
Change from Last Week +0.4
Lost So Far 7.2
Pounds To Go 17.8

I’m technically up nearly a half pound from last week. I popped all the way up to 218 on Wednesday, but slid back down to 216 by Saturday. Then Sunday, I popped up a pound to 217. So, once again, I’m bouncing around the 216 barrier. I think I could break it pretty easily, if I’d just stop eating the salt and pepper kettle chips. But they’re SO good. On the upside, though, I’m all out, and I’m not buying any more.

I’ll leave you this week with a thought. If you take young girls in skimpy outfits and give them swords and guns and lots of exciting action scenes and set it all to a killer soundtrack, you are not guaranteed an awesome movie. You will end up with a mixed bag called Sucker Punch. It rates high on eye candy, but don’t look for any “best screenplay” Oscar nominations next year.

Come on Charlie, its Easter in 2 weeks time. Lets give it our all for 2 weeks before those choccy eggs start flyng about!!

Ban those crisps forever!! They are nothing but a crunchy heart attack!

I’m down to my pre xmas low again and hoping to lose 3 more lbs by Easter! Think I may be close already but the scale is stuck….but I’m down half inch all round, so weight usually follows…..

Oh! And dont forget summer is round the corner, so you need to get to Onederland for the t-shirt weather!!!!!!

Go for it!! 😉

Ha! I laughed when I saw Rachel’s facebook page and saw that you guys were going to see that movie – I thought that would be a good time for you to get a nap in!

At least you had a date with your daughter – fun!

A nap? I actually really wanted to see it. Even after the bad reviews started coming in, I knew I still wanted the experience. Like I said, it rated high on eye candy and I can forgive a thin plot of there’s plenty of solid SFX.

As long as you put your brain on the seat next to you, movies like that can be fun. But you MUST remember to remove your brain or you’re in for a rotten time.

Unless there’s butter on your popcorn.

I wanted to see that, maybe I’ll pass until I can rent it? lol!

Hanna was a super good movie, if your into ‘kind of off the wall flicks, totally check it out. It wasn’t what I expected at all but I loved it.

We definitely wanted to see it in the theater, because if you’re going for the sole reason of being entertained by loud images and bright noises, then you need the full experience.

And like Richard said, the buttered popcorn too.
