Week 7: Back on Track

We entered October on Friday. I can almost see Halloweentown now way down the tracks. But I’m not worried. It’s not as if thirty-seven “fun sized” candy bars ever hurt anyone. Especially not for someone back on track this week. Check me out. No, really. Check me out:

Graph: Week 7

Those aren’t missing days on the graph. I actually fell off the bottom of the charts. And with that, the first phase of this little effort is now over. Behold, then, last week’s results re-graphed on the new Phase 2 scale:

Graph: Week 7

Week Seven
Starting Weight 233.0
Current Weight 221.0
Lost So Far 12.0
Pounds To Go 22.0

I not only re-lost the two pounds gained over my out-of-town trip but lost one more for good measure. At this rate I’ll be down another eight just in time for Chex Mix. Hooray, Chex Mix! But I’m not afraid because I know that this time around I have all of you to answer to. That should keep me from eating more than six pounds of it.

But for now, I feel pretty good. In fact, I’ll tell you a joke. A policeman stopped a car traveling twenty-seven miles per hour along the highway. As he approached the vehicle, he saw four old ladies: one driving and three white-knuckled, pale as ghosts.

“Excuse me, ma’am, do you know how fast you were going?”
“Well,” the driver replied, “I believe I was going twenty-seven.”
“That’s right, ma’am. Only problem is, the speed limit is sixty here.”
“Sixty? Are you sure?” she asked. “I’m pretty sure I saw a speed limit sign back there that said twenty-seven.”
Then it dawned on him. “Oh, no, ma’am. You see, this is highway twenty-seven. That wasn’t a speed limit sign.” He took another look at the other three woman and couldn’t help but ask. “So what’s wrong with them?”
“Them? Oh, I don’t know. They’ve been like that ever since I got off highway 131.”

Good going for recovering from the out of town trip, that’s always a challenge for me too.

I told you, you’d lose it. You are doing so wonderfully. Mine is so slow in moving but at least moving or at least not gaining it back.
Keep up the great work Charlie. I am proud of you!!!

Great job Charlie!! I’ve got my mojo back – thanks for leading the train!

And thanks for the laugh! 😀

Love, your prettier sister (even though your other sister already commented!)

hey Charlie

Congrats on the loss – wooo hooo!!! So good to hear you’re feeling full of beans!! lol (not sure if you have that saying in US, but I’m sure you get the gist 😉

I was zero lost last week. But zero loss is zero gain, so that’s a really good sign 🙂

But as the scales are the devil and I need further motivation, my waist is back in the 20’s, my hips back in the 30’s and my goal jeans fit….Hooorah!!! I’m over the moon actually 😀

See you next week slimster!

Anna 😀
